Once upon a time, there was a tiger named Oliver. He was smiling but abandoned by his ambush, also known as his group. Oliver was a predator and a carnivore. He had orange fur and sharp teeth. He was the alpha (leader).

One tragic night, he was forgotten. Oliver frowned and ran until he found a house to sleep in. He was shivering, and he felt something soft touch him. A 7-year-old boy named Zip saw the cold tiger out the window and approached him to pet him. He licked Zip’s medium fingers.

Zip’s mom was mean and yelled, “Get inside now, or else he will be grounded for nine months.” But the Tiger just hugged Zip, and Zip gave him the blanket.

Zip said, “You’ll be safe with me.”

Zip was shaking because he thought he would eat him, but Oliver did not eat the little boy. Then something terrible happened because the neighbor called 911 and said, “Help, there’s a tiger on the loose.” Oliver was taken to a shelter, and he was treated very badly.

Zip took care of it even in the shelter, but the tiger died because he died of starvation. Zip remembered he was supposed to pick the tiger, but it was too late.

Zip cried and went home to his room, crying even more because he had taken good care of it. He even fed it, but he still went to his cage to remember him and to keep good memories. Zip said, “I will miss you. You will be missed in a better place now.”

Although Oliver died, Zip learned an important lesson: Always be kind to others. You never know how much time you will have with the people you care about.
